Building Houses and Hope
Affordable housing is a game changer for families.
That’s why Habitat for Humanity is committed to helping families break the cycle of generational poverty and build long-term financial security through homeownership. Through affordable housing, Habitat partner families can free up money for child care, education, family activities, and savings while building pride and self-esteem. The no-interest mortgage allows families to build equity and improve their credit.
Most people think of Habitat volunteers as those who swing hammers, drive nails, paint walls and complete other construction tasks. Although we could not exist without those dedicated people, we also have a critical need for volunteers willing to serve on committees, educate and train our partner families, help with events, and provide lunch for our crews.
We also wholeheartedly welcome your financial support. Donations of all sizes makes this important work possible.
Thank you for your interest in Habitat. Our goal is to provide information and inspire your involvement through this site. Please contact us if you have questions or would like to partner.
